DAY 2 (BL) DAVAO
Discover Davao’s delightful countryside with this full day tour that’s set to reinvigorate with refreshing views and remarkable wildlife encounters. Meet the national bird of the Philippines at the Philippine Eagle Sanctuary. The Philippine Eagle (Pithecophaga jefferyi) is a giant bird of prey that can only be found only in the Philippines. It is one of the largest and most powerful among forest raptors. It is critically endangered with an estimated 400 pairs left in the wild. Learn more about the conservation efforts for these powerful birds of prey. Next we proceed to Eden Nature Park where buffet lunch will be served as we enjoy an authentic mountain experience that will surely delight nature-lovers. Thrilling rides like the SkyCycle, SkyRider, and many others are also available for you try on your own account. We also visit Malagos Garden and Malagos Chocolate Museum where we learn about the process of producing Davao’s pride, Malagos Chocolate… from ethically grown Puentespina cacao beans harvested in the foothills of Mount Talomo to export-quality, world-class, smooth chocolate that melts in your mouth. Puentespina Cacao Farm has been designated a producer of Heirloom Cacao, one of only 16 farms to be named as such, and its beans have been named one of the Top 50 Cacao Beans in the World at the 2017 edition of the Cocoa of Excellence Programme in France. Afterwards we navigate to Jack's Ridge, once the location of the headquarters of the retreating Japanese forces towards the end of World War II. Here we can enjoy a commanding view of Davao City and Davao Gulf. We also check out the nearby Shrine of the Holy Infant Jesus of Prague. Nature meets adventure. Experience it all in Davao! DAY 3 (BL) DAVAO-SAMAL ISLAND-DAVAO
Breakfast at the hotel then get ready to swim your worries away as we embark on an island hopping tour to explore the pristine beaches of the Island Garden City of Samal. The tour starts with hotel pick up in the morning then transfer to Sta. Ana Wharf where we will board a pumpboat to take us to our island adventures. Discover the underrated charms of Wishing Island. Unleash your fearless side at Sabang Cliff and jump off from the 40-feet diving spot into the dazzling blue waters. Forget time and unwind amidst swaying coconut trees at Kaputian Beach and Dayang Beach. This is tropical bliss! Go snorkeling at the Coral Garden and discover a wide array of marine life. We also check out Starfish Sanctuary where we can find groups of starfish congregating in the shallow waters. Sumptuous picnic lunch will be served.
