The Philippines is known for having some of the most seductive islands and beaches in the entire world. It’s not surprising since this country has a coastline measuring over 36,289 kilometers (22,548 miles), longer than that of Australia or the USA!

This trip takes you to islands hailed as among the world’s finest by CNN Travel, Condé Nast Traveler, Forbes Traveler, Reader’s Digest, Time Magazine, Travel + Leisure, and Tripadvisor to name a few. (That includes Palawan, Cebu, Boracay, Siargao, and more!) Unlimited beach fun guaranteed!

But wait, there’s more. This dazzling archipelago of over 7,641 islands is also home to volcano-fed hot springs, epic lagoons, glorious waterfalls, an underground river cave, dramatic rock pools, rice terraces, a cave that snores (Literally!), and the Chocolate Hills. (Yes, we’re checking them all out!) Discover World War II shipwrecks and dip into sacred lagoons in Coron. Be blown away by El Nido’s majestic karst limestone formations emerging from the most beautiful and inviting blue waters. See prehistoric hematite paintings. Try your hand at rice planting. Invade hidden coves on Boracay. Go cliff jumping. Experience the Kawa hot bath. Ever tried surfing 70 meters (230 feet) above the ground? This is your chance!

There’s tons of vibrant festivals where absolutely everyone is invited. And the people: Lonely Planet describes Filipinos as “among the most ebullient and easy going people anywhere.”

Blissful tropical sceneries. Astonishing wildlife encounter (Whale sharks, Tarsiers, Sea turtles, the Sardine Run, Stingless spotted jellyfish, Giant clams, luminescent Fireflies, and more!). Drool-worthy local cuisine. Authentic experiences. Discover why It’s More Fun in the Philippines. Looking for a mind-blowing introduction to this country? Look no further. This is it.

DAY 1 (D) ARRIVE MANILA

Mabuhay! Welcome to Manila, the Philippines’ hyperactive capital that’s home to a man-made beach, the world’s oldest Chinatown, and shopping malls as huge as cities. Check into the hotel then prepare to stimulate your senses with a tour that will reveal the charms of the Philippines’ capital city. We visit Rizal Park, a massive plaza named after the greatest Filipino hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Then we pop into the walled city of Intramuros and explore historical gems like Manila Cathedral, Plaza Roma, San Agustin Church, and Plaza San Luis. For your welcome dinner, get ready for a spread of mouth-watering Filipino specialties and an engaging performance by The Singing Cooks & Waiters. (Filipinos love to perform and there’s no shortage of talents here. In fact, Canadian musician and record producer David Foster called the Philippines “The Land of Singing Champions” after collaborating with countless Filipino singers.) Enjoy your first night in the country and soak up the magnetic local culture.

DAY 2 (BL) MANILA-ANGELES CITY-MANILA

Wakey wakey! Today we venture to Angeles City, the booming hub of Pampanga province. Our destination: Puning Hot Spring, an eco haven located along the southwestern part of Sacobia River at the foot of Mount Pinatubo. Gear up for an adventure and wellness experience like no other: Off-road rides by 4x4 Jeep across majestic lahar canyons, therapeutic hot pools for you to dip into, warm volcanic sand massage, and nourishing mud packs… You betcha! You’ll look and feel like a new you after the all-natural pamper session. It's gonna be SPA-ntastic!

DAY 3 (BD) MANILA-CORON  BY FLIGHT

Wave goodbye to Manila and say hello to Coron. After a little over an hour flight, it’s time for your first Palawan experience… Climb over 700 steps to the top of Mount Tapyas and be rewarded with gorgeous panoramic views. Up for a high CRAB meal? For dinner, dig into the tastiest steamed crabs in town. Absolutely CLAW-some!

DAY 4 (BL) CORON ISLAND HOPPING

Make sure to fill up on your hearty breakfast because today we will hit the water to visit islands, lagoons, beaches, and two out of eight lakes on Coron that are open to the public. Kayangan Lake and Barracuda Lake are sacred cultural sites for the indigenous Tagbanua people, one of the oldest tribes in the Philippines. Swim and free dive into these lakes and make sure to take photos of the gorgeous sceneries. Explore the dreamlike Twin Lagoon and experience the uncanny feeling of swimming in thermocline waters (A fancy schmancy way of saying a mixture of cold deep water and warmer surface water), something that rarely happens in other bodies of water, making it a unique experience you absolutely shouldn’t miss. We also check out Skeleton Wreck, a 25-meter long Japanese supply ship that was hit by an airstrike by the US Air Force during World War II. Next, spot Nemo while snorkeling at Siete Pecados. Soak up the sun at CYC Beach. It doesn’t get any better than this.

DAY 5 (BL) CORON REEFS & WRECKS TOUR

Grab your snorkeling gear. Today we’re going back to the water (Underwater!). Coron is listed as one of Top 10 Best Scuba Diving Sites in the World by Forbes Traveler Magazine for the abundance of Japanese shipwrecks in the area (There’s 24 of them!) Not a scuba diver? Worry not! Lusong Gunboat Wreck and East Tangat Wreck are both located on shallow waters so you can free dive or simply snorkel on the surface to catch a glimpse. Don’t fancy shipwrecks? Well, there’s Pass Island where you can just kick back and enjoy the serenity. Make sure to swing by the island’s view deck. You’re gonna love it!

DAY 6 (BD) CORON-EL NIDO BY FERRY

Onward! Today, we’ve got our GPS set for El Nido. Hailed as one of the most beautiful places in the world by CNN Travel and Reader’s Digest, El Nido offers spectacular views of majestic karst limestone formations emerging from the most beautiful and clearest blue waters. Story goes that it was El Nido that inspired author Alex Garland to write his novel “The Beach” when he was staying here. The novel was later made into a film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and became a cult classic. Wouldn't you like to find out what El Nido can inspire you to do? For dinner, have a taste of the yummiest Thai food in town. Sawasdee!

DAY 7 (BL) EL NIDO ISLAND HOPPING

Ready to have another awesome day out at sea? Today’s island hopping tour takes us to the mystifying Secret Lagoon, the epic Big Lagoon, and the jaw-dropping Shimizu Island. There’s also plenty of snorkeling at Payong-Payong Beach plus you’ll get to swim in waters that shimmer in various shades of blue at Seven Commandos Beach. Make sure to check out the tree swing and the small bar for that perfect sundowner. Go get it!

DAY 8 (BL) EL NIDO ISLAND HOPPING

It’s time to hit the beach (Again!) in style. Rub on some sunscreen lotion and get ready for tons of fun under the sun. Enjoy kayaking around Small Lagoon. Discover Cadlao Lagoon and Pasandigan Cove. Forget time at Nat-Nat Beach and Paradise Beach. The name speaks for itself. You’re in for a treat!

DAY 9 (BD) EL NIDO-PUERTO PRINCESA BY VAN

Sling your luggage into the van. It’s time for a road trip to the capital of Palawan. Puerto Princesa is called "The City Within a Forest" due to the fact that 73 percent of its area consists of forest land. Check into your hotel then you’re free to endeavor that perfect poolside pose for your Instagram feed. In the evening, enjoy a magical spectacle with a river cruise while watching glittering fireflies.

DAY 10 (BL) PUERTO PRINCESA UNDERGROUND RIVER

Down your coffee and finish that slice of bacon. Today we conquer the Puerto Princesa Underground River, a stunning site known as the world's longest navigable underground river. Did we mention it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of New 7 Wonders of Nature? The views inside the cave are of an otherworldly beauty and will probably make your jaw drop. (Just make sure not to leave your mouth open too long because there are hovering bats.) The experience is both stimulating and imparts a very zen energy. Ironic but true!

DAY 11 (BD) PUERTO PRINCESA-BORACAY BY FLIGHT

Today, we’re hopping on a flight to Boracay. “Calm, warm waters, gently sloping sand, very relaxing, possibly the most beautiful beach in Asia.” This was how Tripadvisor described the island. When we arrive, soak up the tropical views at White Beach then gobble up your dinner of the yummiest barbecue ribs and more. Don’t forget to check out the wildly entertaining fire dance show. Afterwards, you’re free to explore the island’s lively nightlife. (Go easy! Tomorrow is packed with activities you wouldn’t want to miss.)

DAY 12 (BL) BORACAY ISLAND HOPPING

Anchors aweigh! Today we’re going island hopping to check out the nearby islets and gorgeous beaches including Balinghai Beach and Puka Beach. Fun fact: The quiet Puka Beach is made of white sand and crushed white puka shells thus its name. Explore the two caves at Crystal Cove Island then do unlimited cliff jumping at Magic Island. Not an adrenaline junkie? Worry not! There’s the Crystal kayak… hop on and unleash your inner Naomi Campbell for a photo shoot worthy of an Instagram upload. Want more? We take to the water this time on a Paraw sailboat. Prep your peepers for an explosion of colors in the sky after sunset. Good times!

DAY 13 (BL) BORACAY

Time to grind, Old MacDonald! Today we step back to a time when there were no televisions or mobile phones. When rice planting with a Carabao, weaving, harvesting coconuts, and traditional games were a part of daily living. All these and more you can experience at Motag Living Museum, for a priceless glimpse of what life was like before tourism arrived. Who says time travel is impossible? Experience the nostalgia of a rustic Malaynon lifestyle complete with interactive exhibits and traditional activities at Motag Living Museum. Afterwards we slide to another part of mainland Panay where Nabaoy River is waiting for you to make a splash. Charming as it is, this river plays a vital role in supplying potable water for Boracay Island. Make your way to the diving board and jump into the cool water, hop onto the kayak, try the water slide, or just kick back and relax on the floating cottage. Just keep rolling on the river. Afterwards, gear up for an exciting off-road ATV ride surrounded by lush greeneries and majestic mountain views. Need to cool down (Or is it heat up?) from all the action? Well, there’s the relaxing Kawa hot bath for you to try. Don’t worry, the water’s nice and warm so you won’t be boiled alive. Rub-a-dub-dub!

DAY 14 (BD) BORACAY-CEBU BY FLIGHT

Snatch that souvenir Boracay ref magnet before getting on the plane. We’re heading to Cebu, the “Queen City of the South” and gateway to Central Visayas. After hotel check in brace yourself for a brush up on world history as we visit Mactan Shrine, the site of the epic Battle of Mactan in 1521 where Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan was slain at the hands of Datu Lapu-Lapu. Did you know that one of the ships that survived the Battle of Mactan, the “Victoria,” made it back to Spain and the remaining mariners are often credited as the first persons to have circumnavigated the globe? We continue our exploration to Alegre Guitar Factory then to 10,000 Roses – a glorious vision of thousands of glowing white roses. For your welcome dinner get ready to stimulate your taste buds with Lechon Cebu, named by American chef and TV host Anthony Bourdain as the “Best pig ever.” Skip the calorie count!

DAY 15 (BD) CEBU-BOHOL BY FERRY

Hop onto the ferry, we’re heading to Cebu’s neighboring island of Bohol. We bounce to your hotel for check in then the day is yours for the taking. Carpe this diem! In the evening, we set out to the uber-romantic Paprika Restaurant. Divine bisque, sumptuous carpaccio, decadent Belgian chocolate mousse… très délicieux!

DAY 16 (BL) BOHOL COUNTRYSIDE TOUR

Put on a happy face because today we explore Bohol’s delightful countryside. Prepare to meet the unofficial mascot of Philippine tourism that is the Tarsier. Fun fact: Tarsiers evolved their wide-eyed gaze to cope with their nocturnal lifestyle but their eyeballs don’t move. Instead, they have developed the unusual ability to rotate their heads 360 degrees. (Isn't that fascinating?) Afterwards, we make our way to the Chocolate Hills Adventure Park. Exhilarating activities amidst the majestic backdrop of the Chocolate Hills? Yes and yes! Conquer “The Wave Runner” Surf Zipline and glide on a surfboard over the Hills 70 meters (230 feet) above the ground or try “The Rush” Bike Zipline. Whichever you choose, you’re sure to have a blast! Next, enjoy a delightful dining experience aboard the Loboc Loay River Cruise where lunch is served while the floating restaurant traverses the length of the jade green colored Loboc River. There’s also an engaging cultural show performed by the local community. Tip: Find the rhythm so your feet won’t hit the bamboo poles during the Tinikling dance.

DAY 17 (BL) BOHOL EAST COAST TOUR

Rise and shine! Today we head to the east coast of Bohol to explore amazing landscapes and underwater delights. Our first stop: Can-umantad Falls, the tallest waterfall on the island. (No less!) Enjoy the scenery, relax by the riverside, and caress the flowing cool water. We wouldn’t blame you if you decide to take a dip. Afterwards, we head to the captivating Cadapdapan Rice Terraces. These rice terraces were carved out of the mountains and are irrigated by the waters of Cadapdapan River, the same river system that flows down to Can-umantad Falls. After lunch, we travel by boat to the uninhabited Lamanoc Island. Mystical and sacred, locals believe “diwata” or nature spirits live here. The caves on the island hold boat coffins and Stone Age hematite paintings. (Prehistoric!) Next, we go underwater to visit the Giant Clams Sanctuary. Grab your GoPro. It’s time for an underwater SHELL-fie. Just squidding!

DAY 18 (BD) BOHOL-CEBU BY FERRY

Bid farewell to Bohol. Today we’re going back to Cebu. Check into the hotel then buckle up because we’re hitting the highlands to see some of the most breathtaking views in the area. Get lost in a garden of a thousand blooms at Sirao Flower Garden. Discover the story of undying love behind Temple of Leah. Explore the fortress-like viewing deck at Tops Lookout. For dinner we navigate to La Vie in the Sky, a mountain-top winery and restaurant serving delicious chows and gorgeous views. Bon appétit!

DAY 19 (BL) CEBU-OSLOB-MOALBOAL-CEBU BY VAN

Today, we need to wake up bright and early but you’ll have plenty of nap time as we roll into Oslob. Ready for a mind-blowing experience? Prepare to plunge into the water to swim with the world’s largest fishes. Whale sharks can grow up to 12 meters (40 feet) long and weigh an average of 20 tons. Though carnivorous, you don’t need to worry because they don’t pose any threat to humans. (Their diet consists mainly of smalls shrimps and plankton.) Prepare to be wowed (And feel really small) with this unique wildlife interaction that will leave memories to last a lifetime. Next, we navigate to Moalboal where we hop on another boat for more underwater wonders. The most well-known attraction of Moalboal is a huge group of hundreds of tiny Sardines swimming in synch, called the Sardine Run. Nearby, Sea turtles can be spotted grazing seagrass. There’s also Pescador Island famous for its rich marine ecosystem, making it a superb diving and snorkeling spot. Swimming with Whale sharks, hundreds of Sardines, and Sea turtles all in one day… This is one for the books!

DAY 20 (BD) CEBU-SIARGAO BY FLIGHT

Zip your suitcase. Today we’re heading to the Philippines’ surfing capital – Siargao. After an easy breezy flight, we bounce to your hotel then head to Cloud 9, the island’s most popular surfing spot. In case you missed it, Cloud 9 was ranked 8th in CNNGo's World's Top 50 Best Surf Spots. Care for a surf? Or go swimming or just relax while enjoying a fresh fruit smoothie. Bottoms up! Come dinnertime, expect a spread of drool-worthy seafood so good, you’ll probably overeat. Then you’re free to check out the island’s vibrant nightlife. One ice-cold San Miguel please!

DAY 21 (BL) SIARGAO ISLAND HOPPING

Dig into breakfast then prepare to go on an island hopping adventure to visit three of Siargao’s most famous islands and more. Go snorkeling amidst colorful marine life at the Fish Sanctuary. Discover Naked Island – a sandbar that, as its name suggests, is without any trees or shade. Afterwards, we head to Daku Island for more swimming and snorkeling. Daku Island is also the perfect setting to satisfy your tastebuds with the iconic Siargao Boodle Fight – a delightful beachfront barbecue lunch featuring freshly caught seafood and more. A treat for your eyes and most definitely your tummy! Afterwards, we head to the tiny but mighty Guyam Island where you can relax in a cottage, in a hammock, under a tree, or perhaps explore the surrounding dramatic rock formations. Finally, enjoy your last beach hurrah swimming at Secret Island before the tide rises. Fun times guaranteed!

DAY 22 (BL) SIARGAO-BUCAS GRANDE-SIARGAO

Get ready for your greatest Siargao adventure yet. More than just the regular sightseeing, today’s activities include swimming, snorkeling, ledge jumping, diving, cave explorations, and more. Hokahey! We head to Dapa then hop on to a boat to Bucas Grande Island’s Sohoton Cove. Ready for something amazing? Prepare to be surrounded by smacks of Stingless jellyfish. Stingless jellyfish have a translucent bell measuring between 2-7 centimeters (0.8-2.8 inches) in diameter but some individuals can reach 30 centimeters (12 inches) long. Though small in size, the sight of dozens, oftentimes even hundreds of them, is truly a magical experience. We also visit Hagukan Luminous Cave. A truly peculiar site, this cave not only produces a “haguk” or snoring sound but also brings a dazzling glow that can be seen on the stalactites, the surrounding water, and on the skin of anyone who enters the cave. There’s also Magkukuob Cave as well as Tundan Cave, the most impressive and deepest cave in all of Sohoton Bay. We also check out Club Tara Resort, Tiktikan Lagoon, and Mark A Island where you can swim and relax to your heart’s content. Shell yeah!

DAY 23 (B) SIARGAO-DEPARTURE

And just like that, it’s over. 23 days of incredible adventures in a country that now probably feels more like home. Smile! You’re leaving with tons of great memories, new friends you'll surely miss, and loads of stories to tell.
